here are lots of places online where visitors can sync their voices to an image with a moving mouth. It might seem kind of silly at first, but talking pictures can be a great way for students to share what they've learned.

  • Storyblender - Upload a photo, select a mouth, and record your voice.
  • Gizmoz - Upload a photos and then select background and hair.
  • Blabberize - Upload a photo and select the mouth.  Then record your voice.
  • Voki - Create a talking avatar.
  • Xtranormal - Type what you want our characters to say.

Insert a talking picture on a wiki:

  1. Copy the embed code.
  2. Click Edit on the wiki page.
  3. Put your cursor where you want the video.
  4. Click Insert Plugin and then PB Magic.  Then choose HTML.
  5. Paste the code.
  6. Click Preview.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Click Save.
